Liberty Youth
Our Liberty Youth had a great time celebrating the holidays together and are now getting back into the swing of things!
They have been walking through the book of John together during their Sunday Liberty Youth meetings. They are learning many things about Jesus, and how He calls us to live as Christians. Every time they gather together, their goal is to seek God’s truth in the Scriptures and correctly apply it to our lives. One of the positives of youth group study is the ability to ask appropriate questions, prompted by the biblical text, geared toward their particular age or life events. Our goal is to teach our youth that we all have struggles and point to Jesus as the answer we are all searching for.
We are so excited to be gearing up for youth camp this summer! This year, our youth will be attending FUGE Camp in Jackson, TN on the Union University campus from June 3-8. FUGE camps aim to teach biblical truth and aid in the discipleship of students in a fun and engaging way. They had a great time at camp last year and we expect this year to be another excellent event for our students! The theme this year is REVIVAL GENERATION! The goal for this theme is to understand what real revival is and what that looks like according to the Scriptures.
If any student has not yet signed up for camp but wants to go, please let Adam Lewis know as soon as possible.
Liberty Middle Youth
Liberty Middle Youth is also having a great time getting together and learning about God. Middle Youth is geared towards younger youth in grades 4 through 6. They meet every first and 3rd Sunday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Students participate in a fun activity, Bible-based lesson and Scripture readings. Snacks and drinks are provided each class during a time of fellowship.
Our Liberty Middle Youth is designed to introduce our younger students to a youth group environment in an age-appropriate way.
